Zabbix Infrastructure Monitoring Setup
Implemented a comprehensive monitoring solution for our infrastructure using Zabbix. The project involved setting up Zabbix Server, Zabbix Agents, and various monitoring templates to ensure the continuous monitoring of all critical systems and services. Key responsibilities included:
- Planning and Design: Developed a monitoring strategy to cover all servers, network devices, and applications across our infrastructure.
- Installation and Configuration: Installed and configured Zabbix Server on a central server and deployed Zabbix Agents on all target machines.
- Template Creation and Customization: Created and customized monitoring templates for different services and devices, including CPU, memory, disk usage, and network performance.
- Alerting and Notifications: Set up alerting rules and notification channels to ensure timely response to any issues or anomalies detected by Zabbix.
- Dashboard and Reporting: Designed and implemented custom dashboards and reports to provide real-time visibility into the health and performance of our infrastructure.
- Documentation and Training: Documented the setup process and provided training to the IT team on how to use Zabbix for ongoing monitoring and issue resolution.
